There is data, and there is DATA

Why oh why if you have produced a excel database for public consumption, comprised of thousands and thousands and thousands of observations and hundreds of variables would you randomly put asterisks and footnotes into the fields?

I was having so much fun cleaning this thing that I decided to make it yellow, for a little extra enjoyment.*
